Description
01 / Overview
What this service delivers
Small teams frequently lack someone senior to examine their riskiest code changes. Send us your pull request, or alternatively a patch. A senior engineer works through it in order of importance: correctness first, then unhandled failure paths, then structure, then the smaller details. Comments are placed directly against the relevant lines of the diff wherever they help most, alongside a brief merge recommendation. We review what you have written; we do not rewrite it.
02 / Deliverables
What you receive 5 items
- 01Inline comments on one pull request, covering no more than 400 changed lines
- 02A final recommendation: merge, merge after changes, or hold back
- 03Every comment tagged as blocking, recommended, or a matter of taste
- 04Failure scenarios we believe the change leaves unhandled
- 05A note on any tests that should be in place before release
03 / Fit
Who it suits, and what we need from you
Ideal for
- Solo developers and small teams with no senior reviewer to call on
- Teams releasing a sensitive change, such as payments or authentication
- Founders who want a contractor’s code checked independently before merging
What we need from you
- Reviewer access to the repository for one person, or a patch with sufficient context
- A short explanation of what the change is meant to do
You share these through the technical brief in your dashboard after checkout.
